The Creative Writing Program's annual Symposium on Literature in Translation will bring together three distinguished writer-translators, Philip Metres (Russian), Kazim Ali (Persian and French), and Nathanaël (French and Portuguese). A panel will feature the writers discussing important issues in translation, followed by a reception and a reading from works they have translated. The next evening, the writers will read from their own work.More information here.
