Hosted by Elinor Nauen & Martha King Yuko Otomo is a visual artist and a bilingual poet/writer of Japanese origin. She also writes haiku, art criticism and essays. She has read at St. Mark's Poetry Project, Tribes, Bowery Poetry Club, ABC No Rio, La Mama, The Living Theatre, PS1, MoMA, the Queens Museum and in venues in France, Germany, and Japan. She is a currently a contributing writer for a collective online art critical forum, www.Arteidolia.com. Her latest books are STUDY (Ugly Duckling Presse) and Elements (The Feral Press). Michael T. Fournier is the author of two novels—Swing State (2014) and Hidden Wheel (2011), both from Three Rooms Press—and a book-length discussion of the Minutemen’s 1984 album, Double Nickels On The Dime, the 45th installment of Bloomsbury Press’s “33 1/3” series. His writing has appeared in Vice, Oxford American, Pitchfork, Dusted, and the Boston Globe. He publishes and co-edits Cabildo Quarterly, a broadsheet literary journal, with poet Lisa Panepinto. He's the drummer of Dead Trend and guitarist of Tooth & Germ. Fournier lives in western Massachusetts with his wife, Rebecca, and their cat. Find more information here.
